Voice activation is not a new technology, but seemingly overnight we all have our own Smart Houses with fancy refrigerator screens and in-home AI devices. These technologies certainly have that cool factor, but are we being inundated with too much shiny-and-splashy and not enough tech that’s focused on consumers and what they actually need?
